Benning had no interest at all in today's project. If I had a plain tshirt for him, I would dye it; he likes a little extra warmth on cool days, but all of today's white kids' clothes came from Salvation Army, so no special orders. I figure they grow out of them so fast, it wouldn't matter if they were imperfect. Tshirts are for my grandsons, Dean in Hawaii, and Jax who is due in the
next couple weeks.

| smells like onion soup |
Dyeing in boiling water and onion skins. I forgot to take a picture of the wrapped tshirts
before dyeing.
I've been saving onion skins to dye with. They worked better and were a stronger dye than I expected; results are a rather nice gold-yellow with an undertone of pink that I didn't expect.
